Shade has a lot of urchins around. They have some interest in me. Shade tells me to keep my head down, then warns the others to prepare for unwanted company. Soon enough, a group of bejewelled strangers shows up. Two are visible, but 3 are actually present. We roast them, then run out of town.

2025-06-22: On the Road {{{1 We decide to head north through Nevada. Areas of interest: Indian population, Area 51. Heavily populated by DBs, especially cactus people (who are peaceful). And Bandito Arms seems to be scavenging pre-Rifts tech there.

Our first night is spent in Gaslamp, a small town which specializes in auto scrapping & repair.
